Activities and Attractions
Vancouver is famous for its varied cultural mix, myriad of restaurants and fabulous shopping. It is one of the few cities in the world where one can ski, golf and sail - all in the same day. The city features Stanley Park - the world's biggest urban park. It is also home to the Molson Indy and the renowned Vancouver International Jazz Festival. Most Alaskan cruises leave from Vancouver, out of the cruise ship terminal across from The Fairmont Waterfront.

Victoria is located at the southern tip of picturesque Vancouver Island. It features the mildest climate in Canada and as a result, offers outdoor activities year round. Victoria is known as the Garden City and a trip would not be complete without a sop at world-famous Butchart Gardens. The Fairmont Empress is also an attraction - its Afternoon Tea has been a city tradition since its opening in 1908. The recently opened Willow Stream Spa has quickly established a reputation as one of the finest Wellness facilities in the Pacific Northwest.

Whistler has consistently ranked as the Top Ski destination in North America. Over the years, it has grown into the ideal four-season resort - featuring championship golf courses, biking and roller-blading trails, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and whitewater rafting. Driving Distances
Transfers between our British Columbia properties vary between 20 minutes and four hours. The scenery on the ferry between Vancouver and Victoria and along the Sea-to-Sky Highway up to Whistler is simply breathtaking.

• Victoria to Vancouver - 114mi/183km (3 hours including 1.5 ferry ride to Vancouver Island)
• Seattle to Victoria - Direct Ferry Service on the Victoria Clipper (2.5 to 3 hours)
